Over looking Ben Nevis

Day break over looking Ben Nevis from the Commando Monument, this is a lovely time of day. A slow walk with great views, before a hearty breakfast, what a way to start the day!

Well when we do get some snow it is truly magnificent, can't always be guaranteed, but beautiful when its here, snow flakes so big, its great.

Harry Potter scene

The Glennfinnan viaduct was used in the filming of Harry Potter get your timing right and see the steam train going over the bridge, as well as the lovely scenery that surrounds the whole area. Book a boat trip to watch the eagles, we will tell you where and how.

Sun rise

The New year brought a spectacular sun rise what a surprise to us all, with the wonderful colours we awoke to at the break of dawn, it had to be seen to be believed, luckily we captured it before it disappeared.

Want to escape?

Ask and we will tell the need to escape gets to us all at some point peace quiet and tranquility, except for the odd bird who's call invades the quiet and stillness, it never ceases to amaze just a stones throw and you are there.

What did New Year Bring?

Yes Snow what a lovely site to wake up to ! the village looked so lovely on this New Years day, with only a few snow flakes for company.

We thought Yes what a good day to take a walk, little did we know how good it would be! walking along the flat top of Anoch Mor we were spoilt with the views over towards Ben Nevis, people could try for years for a picture, and views like we had today
